HENRIK NORRTHON
FILMMAKER
 

I studied Journalism and Television in Stockholm, and after graduating, I co-founded a film collective with a group of colleagues in Malmö. Our first short film, I Love Johan, won the 1 km Film Award at the Stockholm Film Festival.

We went on to produce the feature film Fjorton Suger, which was distributed throughout Scandinavia and screened at international film festivals including Berlin, Seattle, Toronto, London, and Hollywood.

After this, I studied Film at the London Film School and began working on a documentary about the industrial gas disaster in Bhopal, featuring Martin Sheen and Mischa Barton. I also worked on a feature-length documentary about Nelson Mandela.

Today, I work across Swedish and Danish television as a producer, cinematographer, and editor. Alongside my television work, I produce documentaries and corporate films for companies in Malmö, Copenhagen, and across Europe.
